We purchased my car in 2014 new. Come 2015 we had to replace the charcoal canister. I believe the car had @60,000 miles (yes, that's a lot but those are mostly highway miles)on it at this time. Luckily it was covered under warranty. 7/ 2019 we had the same problem. Less than 60, 000 miles more had been put on at this time. I was putting gas and when i'm going to turn on my car doesn't turn on just after 15 min later ,this happened two times before i take it to toyota dealer for a deep diagnostic.the result was the charcoal canister need to be replace but i saw online2.98 millions toyota from year 2009-2015 has been recall fro same issue.i will like toyota to cover for this issue.
