When needing to accelerate the car takes off like a jet rocket when the pedal is pressed. The car seems to be out of control and shaking violently. This happens usually on highway when going above 50. Feels very unsafe. This is a used car i bought. This happens on a regular basis.

Car is sputtering and hesitates when driving at low speeds, it does it intermittently. This is a safety concern. I took it to toyota dealership and called headquarters and they have not been able to resolve this major problem. They are overlooking the problem. Apparently this is an ongoing problem with toyota cars and they haven't done anything about it.
