My wife has experianced brake fade, brake failure and inconsistant braking with her 2009 corolla. I have noted that this seems to be related to temperature, humidity and warmup of the operating system. The situation was briefly improved after the previous recall for the brake boostedr problem but returned in 60 days. Toyota seems to not care about this issue
