Received notice of defect with engine control module in october of 2010 from toyota motor sales usa. Follow up notice was stated by toyota to be given at later date. In february 2011 received notice from toyota that defect with ecm was confirmed and could cause engine failure and possibly serious injury from driving vehicle caused by the ecm failure.
