Takata recall: airbags deployed in recent car accident where i was side swiped off the highway. Pinky finger on right hand was nearly chopped off by sharp object coming from airbag. Needed 10 stitches to sew pinky finger back to ring finger in the er.

I own a 2010 similar model and i have just received a recall notice for the airbag wiring harness. In august, i purchased a 2011 toyota corrolla. I was driving it home and noticed the airbag indicator lamp was illuminated. The lamp has stayed continuously illuminated since the date i noticed it. This mimics the behaviour indicated in the recall notice on my 2010 model.
